1. Personal Data

1.1 Entered Data from the Registration Form

All data, which is entered into the registration form, such as name, address, email, telephone number and password, will only be used by GLS Sprachenzentrum in order to create the customer’s invoice, inform them of changes to the course, to update customer information or to plan specific courses for the customer after the customer has accepted our Terms and Conditions.

The password which is generated during registration is used for the customer only in the registration form.


1.2 Registered Data in the Contact Form

The name, telephone number, address, email address and correspondence of customers will only be used by administrative staff at our school, so that they can stay in direct contact with the customer. The language school will answer queries, or send the requested information using the saved customer data.

2. Server und Use

Our website is hosted by on an exclusive server and all information generated will be saved in our database. Only the administrative staff of GLS Sprachenzentrum are allowed to access this data and will only use it to contact customers about delivery of invoices, course information or changes to registered or desired courses.

3. Certification SSL

Our school works with the most up-to-date technology to ensure the security of data. Currently, we use SSL encryption when accessing any page of our website.

4. Web Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics by Google Inc. We also use Cookies which are stored on the client system of the customer. This allows us to examine how our website is used (User Behavior.) Only in certain cases, will the whole IP address be submitted to Google in EE.UU, which, however, will there be shortened. Google uses this information to assess the use of the website, in order to collect reports of activities and offer additional services to the user. These services are associated with the use of the website and internet. The IP Address which will be sent from a computer to Google Analytics, can not be combined with other associated data from Google (for example, user accounts from other websites.)

You can deactivate the saving of Cookies in your browser settings. It is also possible to prevent the transmission of data to Google Analytics. A plug-in is provided by Google for this purpose.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your information will be entered into our database. This date will not be shared with others. However, you can deactivate your account and unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.


  a) Postal advertising
We reserve the right to use your first and last name and your postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send you interesting offers and information on our products by post. This serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in addressing our clients in advertising in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.   b) Email newsletter
If you subscribe to one of our newsletters, we use the data required for this purpose or data provided separately by you to send you the subscribed email newsletter on a regular basis. The sending of email newsletters takes place on the basis of your separate express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (a) GDPR. For security reasons, we use the double-opt-in procedure: We will only send you a newsletter by email if you have previously confirmed your newsletter registration. For this purpose, we will send you an email confirming your subscription via the link contained therein. This is to ensure that only you, as the owner of the email address provided, can subscribe to the newsletter.

The newsletter may be sent via an external service provider to whom we pass on your email address for this purpose. In such cases, the processing is carried out on our behalf. You can object to this use of your email address at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the advertising email, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates.

If the service provider is based in the USA, we always ensure that it is certified in accordance with the EU-US Privacy Shield. On our website, we use the integration of Google Maps to visually display geographical information. In accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offering at individual locations when weighing up the interests involved.

Insofar as information is transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. On the basis of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield. When you access a website on which Google Maps is integrated, Google’s web server also automatically collects access data in server log files, which are automatically communicated by your browser, such as the name of the requested file, the last website visited, the date and time of the access, the browser used, the amount of data transferred, the IP address, the requesting provider, etc. When using Google Maps, Google also processes data on the use of the Maps functions by visitors to the website.
